Frances Ring was born January 1, 1910 and during her eighty-six years on the planet, she helped many people overcome fears, phobias, and emotional traumas. She helped businesses and corporations become more productive and efficient. Hypnosis was one of the tools of her trade that she was able to impart to others to use for themselves. She had an ability to put her self on the shelf and become whoever she was working with needed her to be. She worked twelve hour days Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and made herself available until 10:00 pm every night of the week free of charge for the people she was working with.
In the mid 1970’s, she completed a book titled “How To Live A Rotten Sex Life” about which she said that, although the title is negative, what’s inside the book is positive.
Frances Ring devoted her life to helping people overcome emotional pain, trauma, and anxiety. Early personal experiences shaped her understanding of human behavior and inspired her to focus on healing, reflection, and growth rather than confrontation or blame. She believed that therapists should work on themselves first, gaining insight and empathy to guide others effectively. Her teachings emphasized self-awareness, forgiveness, and letting go of resentment, demonstrating that small changes can lead to a lasting, positive impact on relationships and personal well-being.
Frances’ guidance influenced many, including David Bloom, who credits her methods with helping him navigate personal challenges and family dynamics. Her approach offered clarity, practical tools, and a compassionate framework to better understand oneself and others. Through David’s first book, her wisdom reaches readers seeking hope, insight, and actionable lessons to approach life, relationships, and challenges with confidence and awareness.
